Harvest Market
ASSISTING FAMILIES AND SENIORS TO SHOP AT THEIR LOCAL FARMERS' MARKET
A PROVINCE-WIDE COUPON PROGRAM
The Harvest Market provides coupons for lower income families and seniors to get fresh food at their Farmers’ Market while also supporting local food production.
How it Works
If you consider yourself a lower income family or senior and need assistance buying fresh produce, please fill out this application form. There are a limited number of spots available and applications are chosen by lottery.
You will be contacted if a position is available for you and/or your family.
Coupons can be spent at any Tuesday Market farm booth to purchase fresh produce, cut herbs, meat, eggs, and cheese. The purpose of the program is to promote cooking at home using healthier food choices and therefore no preserves, breads, plants, honey or flowers are eligible for purchase.
After coupons are exchanged for products, the farmers’ market manager reimburses the market vendors with the cash value of the coupons received.
To apply for the coupon program, please fill out the application form below.
