Food Bank Harvest Home Meals Coupon Program

Any individual or family facing food shortages can sign up to receive a food bank hamper.

Please submit your order form weekly in order to pick up your hamper on TUESDAYS between 9:30 am to 3:45 pm.
Hampers are picked up from Salt Spring Island Community Services’ food bank building.

Our Harvest Home Meals program delivers fresh-cooked meals to seniors in their own homes. We deliver 2 meals every Thursday on a 6-week basis.

We have 3 pricing options available to suit different financial situations. Seniors who do not require financial assistance can sign up for meals at full price. Those in need of financial assistance can request full or 50% subsidization.

To qualify for subsidization, you must be 60 or over and be approved by our Harvest Programs Coordinator. To apply, fill out an application form.

The Harvest Market Coupon Program provides seniors and low income families with physical coupons to be used at the Tuesday Farmers’ Market in Ganges. There are limited number of spots available and applications are chosen by lottery. You will be contacted in late spring if a position is available for you.
